Meet Clarence Springs, he received a Level 1 Certificate in Small Business Management

Clarence is a San Antonio native with a passion for entrepreneurship. He decided to attend St. Philip’s College after touring the MLK campus as a high school student. During the tour, Clarence was drawn to the many resources and opportunities available to students.

When Clarence began at SPC he was seeking to build confidence and knowledge in the various aspects of business management. Now with a certificate in hand, he hopes to become a successful entrepreneur while leaving an impact in the community.

During his time at St. Philip’s, Clarence participated in Collegiate 100 where he spent time mentoring youth and engaging in community-related initiatives. Clarence was also previously featured in SPC Proud where he represented the Business & Entrepreneurship Institute.

Clarence is motivated by his grandmother who always pushed him to be successful. Although his grandmother passed in 2019, he strives to make her proud and is reminded of her strength in moments of difficulty.
